Alkesta UAB is one of the biggest road and bridge construction companies in Lithuania.
The main scope of activity of the company covers construction and repair of communications (motor roads of state significance, bridges, viaducts, overhead roads and tunnels on these roads), also railway roads, air transport roads and pavements for pedestrians, and construction of hydrotechnical structures, as well as manufacture of construction materials for roads.
Most up-to-date technologies and only ecologically clean and environmentally friendly technological processes are employed for implementation of projects. A huge technical base, constantly updated equipment, industrial buildings and most up-to-date technologies installed allow implementation of the most sophisticated projects.
In 1966, in order to accelerate construction of roads and bridges in the Southern Lithuania, the Road Construction Administration has been established in Alytus. After Lithuania declared its independence, in 1993, a limited liability company Alkesta UAB (Alytus construction of bridges) has been established and continues its successful activity not only in Lithuania, but also abroad. Alkesta UAB is a member of the Lithuanian Roads Association Lietuvos keliai and
the Road Laboratory of Alkesta UAB is a member of the Building Product Testing Laboratory Association.
