Negotiations with LEICA (Switzerland) representatives on testing and acquisition of bulldozer blade control system PowerGrade Dozer 3D has taken place, in order to improve performance and productivity, and to provide maximum efficiency of the available equipment. For smooth operation of bulldozer control system, at first, D&G (Designing and Geodesy) Department shall have to process and prepare the data for system operation. After designing work and installation of it into the machine control panel, it shall be possible to commence the works and to feel the real benefit and advantage of the system, if to be compared with other machine control systems. This system allows reducing the scope of levelling and marking works, a required result is possible to obtain already at the first visit to the site, which means that you are saving time, improving fuel economy and reducing bulldozer maintenance costs. Total system control and determination of inclination is performed directly from the cabin. Bulldozer does not require an over-ground “supervisor”.  Machine down time diminishes, as you do not need to wait for the foreman, works manager or surveyor, having to perform measurements. Employment of machine automation changes the character of D&G Department engineer, as he has to prepare projects and tasks, enabling optimal exploitation of machine technical characteristics. The system shall not turn a poor bulldozer operator into a good one, though a good specialist shall become an excellent one.
